Problem
Medical professionals globally were needing a fast, cost effective solution to help reduce the risk of transmission when attended to patients who were positive with the coronavirus.
Solution
PRP fabricated a unique face shield, comprising of a 2-piece design from a special FDA approved EVA foam, and PETG sheet.
The product features a headband design that uses the elasticity of the foam to cater
for varying head diameters, and also a force fit clip-on shield to allow for easy assembly and replacement.
The simplicity of the product allows for very high production runs using our automated CNC systems, with capacity of up to 6,000 units per day.
